Tree Stump
A personal project exploring various uses of fur and the implementation of high resolution textures from photography.
Responsibilities: Modeler, Lighter, Surfacing Artist and Fur Artist
Tools: Maya and Photoshop
Modeling the ground, tree stump, rocks and mushrooms. Construction and implementation of a basic three point lighting rig. Surfacing of mushrooms (cap, gills and stem) and tree stump (top and circumference) broken into UV sets with textures refined and color corrected in Photoshop. Generation of grass and moss using Maya legacy fur system with textures to define distribution and coloration.
